The movers were kind, patient, and professional in completing the project in a reasonable time-frame with no concerns. It is highly likely that if I need moving services in the future I would hire this company again.
After a couple of disastrous attempts to secure movers for my 93 year-old mother's move from Lincoln NE to Albany NY, I found Coleman/Allied! From the very beginning the service we received was outstanding. First, unlike the other companies I'd contacted, Rod came to Mom's house to do a physical assessment of her belongings and give us an estimate. Then we dealt with Tam E. in Omaha who became our move coordinator. Tam E stayed with us throughout the move and checked in regularly to let us know what was happening and what we could expect. She even called right as the movers were completing delivery to make sure everything was satisfactory. While both Rod and Tam E were consummate professionals, our movers, Darren and Connie Wright were beyond great -- better than anything we could have envisioned. Darren called several times, letting me know when the packers would arrive, when he would pick up what had been packed, when we could expect delivery. He checked in several days before delivery and fine tuned the arrival time the day before. Meeting him and Connie on site, I saw just how lucky were were to have them. They treated our belongings as if they were their own, taking care to unload and place the furniture just as we wanted. I can't believe how fortunate we were to have selected Coleman/Allied. They go way above and beyond!
Darren & Connie Wright made the whole delivery process efficient, friendly, and fun. They were respectful of our home and items. This is our second move with Coleman/Allied. ‘Nuff said.
Moving is stressful no matter the circumstances. Those at Coleman/Allied moving that I worked could not have been more patient and supportive. David who coordinated my initial estimate, made sure all was in order in the most helpful and patient manner. Samatha who coordinated my move/delivery date and payment, was flexible and kind. Many adjustments had to be made due to hurricane Ivan in FL where I was moving. My packer/driver, Jose, took care of all my belongings like they were his, coordinating items to 3 delivery locations. All treated me like family. The fee for my move was extremely reasonable and fair.
I moved to Virginia from Germany and used Coleman for part of my household goods. Angelica and William Brown delivered my things today and they were the ultimate professionals. Careful, attentive, engaging, and efficient! Highly recommend.
We moved from FL to RI using Coleman Allied. From beginning to end it was a wonderful move. We packed ourselves but the teams that loaded and offloaded were very respectful, courteous and genuinely cared for our belongings. Special recognition for the driver, Eddie! He was spot on the inventory and super guy.
Choosing a moving company is as difficult as the move itself, and not made any easier by an abundance of mixed reviews. My recent move from Atlanta to Bradenton, FL was no exception. I considered PODS, U-Pack, renting a U-Haul truck, along with a few full service moving companies before deciding on Allied Van Lines - Coleman Moving Group in particular. While I liked the idea of a locked container, I had doubts about the size I needed and didn't relish having to hire loading and unloading help on both ends. Naturally, price also entered into the equation. I had a relatively small load; and as I learned, some companies have minimum weight and charges, while others go by actual weight. All things considered, I saved over $1000 going with Allied. Loading was originally scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 28, but that was before Hurricane Ian took aim where I was going. While the storm didn't impact Atlanta, driving to Bradenton the following day would have been impossible, and spending a couple extra days in a totally empty house didn't have much appeal. Fortunately, LaNya, the moving coordinator, and Kelly, the moving consultant, were able to delay loading until Friday on very short notice. We drove down on Saturday and the truck arrived Tuesday! The movers, Jason and Stephen couldn't have been more professional and accommodating and quickly dispelled any anxiety over the handling of my possessions. LaNay even called the next day to hear what I what thought about the
Anthony Angle was my moving consultant and he came over to give a quote in person which gave me a lot more confidence that he truly could offer an accurate quote. In fact, he was almost exact on his estimated weight of our contents! He kept in touch throughout the whole process to make sure all was well. Our driver Miquise was pleasant to work with and did great to care for our property as things were loaded and unloaded. He was prompt and professional. This experience was stressful but because of the team at Coleman- I was able to get moved without a hitch! Thanks so much for a great experience.
